Neil developed an interest in both music and business at a very young age—beginning with his taking piano lessons at the age of five and providing snow shoveling services to his neighbors a few years later. His interests in music and business continued throughout his student years as he played in a variety of bands starting with playing the trombone in Paul Winterʼs Little German Band in 7th grade—before Paul became a seven time Grammy Award winner–and continuing through marching with the Penn State Blue Band in college. While at Penn State, Neil created two companies, earned a degree in Industrial Engineering, and found the woman who would become his wife. Following graduation from College, he served two years as an Artillery Officer in the U. S. Army. He then returned to Blair County to pursue his business career which included becoming the CEO of two companies that became national leaders in their respective industries—Food Service and Healthcare Software. His interest in music led him to performing on the piano for his three children and six grandchildren and performing on the stage with local community theater groups. He met William Allen Jones when they were working together in a regional production of “The Music Man”. This chance meeting in 2005 led to the collaboration of Port and Jones with their creation of P&J Productions and their plan to promote musicals written by Jones. The talents of Jones, who has created a number of shows, and Port, who has been a businessman almost all of his life, have produced some dynamic and appreciated works of art.

Will composed his first song at age 9 and has been writing music for most of his life. While growing up in his native Buffalo, New York, Will began performing in rock bands. After high school, he served in the United States Marine Corps and following his service he continued to pursue his two passions-music and martial arts, having owned and operated a martial arts school for more than a decade. Over the years, he has written music for radio ads, television commercials, and various other media. In 1999, a production company performed his first theatrical musical, A Christmas Caroled, based on the Dickens’ classic. Following the success of this show, he composed, Sherwood: The Musical Adventures of Robin Hood, Ghost Show, and Jack. Various community theater groups and organizations have performed these shows locally, regionally, and nationally. Will met successful businessman and musician, Neil Port, in 2005 and they began producing shows together that same year. Since then, P&J Productions has gone on to entertain thousands through producing Jones’ original works, presenting regional musical productions, and promoting shows by national touring acts. Through the proceeds of these events, P&J Productions has donated over $84,000.00 to various charitable organizations. Will is married and has three children.
